TEAK: SUSTAINABLE SOURCE
Teak (Tectona grandis) is not, as many believe, a hardwood of rainforests: its natural habitat is found in the drier areas of the Far East. In some countries, vigorous Teak plantations have been placed under strict government supervision, so that sustainable methods are respected.
